Abstract: The efficacy of Paecilomyces lilacinus in suppressing root-knot nematode (Meloidogyne incognita) and burrowing nematode (Radopholus similis) infestation in black pepper (Piper nigrum) was studied. Through the fungus could not effect absolute control of nematodes, it significantly suppressed nematode infestation and increased total root mass production. The fungus was more effective in suppressing M. incognita than R. similis
